Music in the City (MITC) – October 1st and 2nd in venues all around Southampton. A fantastic celebration of music and musicians in the city! Once again I shall be looking after acts in  King John’s Palace (behind Tudor House) –

The Wessex Chordsmen have been singing barbershop songs together for over 20 years. They have performed in many different venues around the Winchester and Southampton area and have raised money for many different charities including
Naomi House – McMillan Nurses…

Their unique blend of barbershop styles songs and entertainment has made them a popular act at Music in the city.

The project was initiated in 2009 by Linda Norris when she was a City Councillor, and is supported, by the City Council. But there are people involved in Music in the City from many different organisations, venues, and musical genres. More people are joining up all the time.
